Post 8 - A Subject you've enjoyed Studying this Semester

Hi, today I am going to talk about my favorite subject, this is english, english during this semester, we worked blog writing and we did oral practices between classmates and teacher.

We learned about many different topics to speak about in english. We studied different ways to talk about our careers, free time, the future, the past, our favorite picture, favorite tv show, among other topics.

I liked talking about my career, It was a good topic, I study Cinema And Tv. I did an oral presentation in front of my classmates and I had to apply everything I learned in classes and speak about something. Even although I was nervous, I could remember the connectors and all the words practiced in blog writing. Despite my bad memory I could improvise and say different things and that made me happy because I felt that I was learning. I liked that exercise and it is fundamental to speak english in case I talk to a director sometime.

Other topic that I liked is the of formulate questions and answers for set up a good conversation in English, all the topics of the class were important for our personal development in the matter, the teacher is very good and has great patience.

Post 10 - Evaluating your Blogging Experience

My experience writing for this blog has been very interesting, I learn a lot about the language and how to explain some thoughts and concepts that a haven´t be able to do in the past. Is very nice that this is something that we do every week because we can train and understand many ways to exprese our selfs in english.  I had feel a little frustrated in the beginning, only because a don´t have a very good past whit this langauge but now i feel much more confortable writing and speaking it.  

I feel that my writing has improved a lot compared to school and my first years of university, I really like the exercise of blog writing.

In the future a think it would be nice to have more time to understand more of the subject or topic that we develop in the blog on the class, maybe if we talk about them in class we can train more and get better on the talking to.

I think that we have the chance to talk and write many interesting thing on the blog, and for me that im from career and faculty, this give me the possibility to learn more about my partners int he class.

Post 7 - An Expert in your Field

One of my favourite experts on my field is Stanley Kubrick, he was an american director, screenwriter, producer and photographer. He make his way on the industry making a few of the most important movies on the XX century. His is one of the most influential and biggest director and writer of the history of cinema. His films are mostly adaptations of novels, playing with multiple genres and topics, having an incredible way to represents his scripts and characters on the big screen.

One of his most famous films is the science fiction adaptation of 2001: A space Odyssey (1968), this one became with a lot of controversy because Kubrick did it one year before that the men get to the moon on a space rocket, sent by the american ( Very suspect ). Other great film of his is The Shining (1980), an other adaptation of a bestseller novel, this time making a psychological thriller.

I love Kubricks work because is very interesting everything about his films, even though his stories are adaptations of famous books, he has a unique way of show his own conception of the story, with vibrating characters and beautiful screen display, I fall in love of his work just for the feeling that hi transmit whit his point of view.

Post 6 - Tv shows and Series

My favorite series is Breaking Bad, this is a serie of tv in United States has five Seasons and Sixty-two episodes, I like becouse is very intense, has a very good drama, excellent actors and cinematographic technical team surprising. What I like the most is the dramatic conflict of the main character and the evolution of the personality, from the good person becomes to a very bad.

The series that I like more and I enjoy are the of Science fiction in the that has must think the viewer, other series that I like them are Lost, Black Mirror, Stranger Thing, The walking Dead, among other. I like them because they have stories very sticky

that you can not stop seeing.

exists a serie that I have not seen and is the serie ¨friends¨,I would like to see it because all say that is very good and entertaining but for my feel that t's not entertaining, once I saw

a episode and I fell asleep but all say that is very good, maybe  should give it a new opportunity and see it complete.

The series are a good hobbies also very addictive for the lovers of the cinema.

Post 9 - Back to the Past

Hello, Today I'm going to speak about my preference for travel in the time, I would like travel to the past because I feel that could solve many problems and maybe today could be happy.

In the past I would like change all the lost time before of enter the university and to have entered immediately after school because today feel that I would like study more things but I am against time, For a filmmaker the practice does the teacher, the theory alone complements, that is a of the things that I would like change between many. But good, someday I will be back to study, Today I will continue practicing my career the which I like very much.

Talking about the past I would like return at the time of the dinosaurs because feel that all was more beautiful, the animals, the nature, the air and all, the world it was much more free, the humans destroy the world, Not value anything.

I would like go for the day at that time but I would not stay because feel that the world it's better without the humans, I would go and die there and be the last human of the world. 

The past is something that to all we would like change but pity It is not possible.

                           

POST 5 - A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

Hello companions, Today I'm going to talk about the photograph of Sergio Larrain call ¨Homeless¨.



This photograph shows the loneliness in the streets, the darkness, corners that few people care about, the photographer work with the hard shadows generating contrasts, work too with the prospects producing tridimensionality of the space. Sergio Larrain taking photographs with very social conscience the proposals artistic of he are very beautiful, represent the realy of each country, moments of the life, situations that always producing a reflection.

This photograph I like because the author work with the white and black, this produces me emotion, feel that through of the sadows and contrasts arrives to represent the feeling of the loneliness in the streets.

Post 4 - "My favorite Movie"

Hello friends, today I will speak about my favorite movie, this is ¨The black swan¨ of Darren Aronofsky, is a movie very beautiful and interesting, is my favorite because I love dancing and this movie talk about that.

Also I like the direction of photography of this movie as well as the others departments because exists a great work behind camera.

I like the style of camera is very experimental, the work of illumination, movement of camera, post of color, post de sonido, editing, special effects among other things.

As usual I like to see movie of suspense, drama or anyone the true, feel that exists a movie for every moment, all are good I love the cinema.

The last movie that saw it was Dunkerque of Christopher Nolan, I like the soundtrack and special effects , the true is that has better. I did not like the general work of the movie, alone I like those two things that name. I do not recommend.

The work of cinema is very beautiful help to think in others things and to know other realities.

Post 3 - My favourite piece of technology

Hello friends of the blog, todays I go to speak about my favourite piece of technology.


My favourite piece of technology is my computer because in this work in editing of short films, photos and other things,  Also I make my university's homework, see pages fun, I communicate with my friends and family. my computer it was a gift of birthday made for my parents in the year 2012 and that I liked a lot.

I use my computer frequently because study Cinema and tv in the university,  In the career all the programs are for computer ( Final cut pro - Adobe Premiere - photoshop - among others ) ,  almost always I am working in my computer and making social life in Facebook, Instagram or whatsapp for computer.

I like my computer because is very fast, resistant, comfortable and has a lot of memory for to download programs, applications and games. My life without computer would a problem because todays I do my homework for the university,  works for little producer ,  I communicate with the world, among others things...

I like the computers portable because love going out and do works in the fresh air.

POST 2 - Why did you choose this Career/study Programme?

Hello, today I want speak about my dream when was little, I liked the theater, the dance and the cinema, I wanted to be a professional dancer, actress and to work in the cinema.

I started in  the year 2002 to take courses of theater for children, I liked and follow for years, I wanted to be a actress to the 17 years, wanted to study theater in the Universidad de Chile, a year passed and I started to like the direction of actors in the cinema, there I knew that the career of Cine and Tv taught the techniques and more.

Take courses in a year of photography for cinema and performance front of camera I liked a lot so I thought that study Cinema was a good idea because includes all the arts and communications that I like.

Enter to study Cine in the University ARCIS the year 2012 until the year 2014 and do not finish because the university was in economic trouble.

So enter to study again Cine but in the Universidad de Chile, I am happy with my career and my univeristy. My experience in the university is very nice and every time I learn more, I have good companions and teachers that help a lot. My job in the university is going to the gym and estudy in the fresh air with companions for after to go of party.

POST 1 - MY BIOGRAPHY

Hello, My name is Antonieta Barraza I'm from Santiago , my age is of 23 year and my birthday is the 28 of september, I love september because I like the spring.

At this moment of my life I am Studying Cinema and Tv in the Universidad De Chile in the faculty of ICEI ,  I am in my fourth year of career and I like a lot because I love the Cinema and make films.

Also is my hobby, I love have social documentary, work in ground with the people , other hobby that I like is the trekking, I love the hills, the nature and the heights.

With respect to my family, these are very crazy but the love, we are five, my parents and two sisters, we live in the commune of Padre Hurtado to two hours from the city. One of my sisters studied public relations and the other is teacher, My father work in a factory of glass and my mather paint pictures in the home.
